Hi! I'm Alyssa - mother of three, birth photographer, plant lover, born in the 90's, and a Michigan girl at heart. Being raised and lived in northern MI my whole life, I've always been drawn to nature, simplicity, and the beauty of life in its most natural forms - including birth. I've been deeply passionate about all things birth from a very young age of around eight. When my friends would be watching the Disney channel, I preferred the birth stories on TLC. As a mother myself, I know just how sacred the first moments are. I've experienced both a hospital birth and two home births, so I bring a personal understanding, & respect into every birth space I'm invited into. All of my birth experiences greatly shaped the way I see birth - real, raw,  & beautiful. When I'm not behind my camera or chasing children, you'll likely find me tending to my houseplants, or soaking in the northern air I'll always call home. My heart is rooted in honoring the beauty of each unique birth story, and the incredible strength of women on their journeys into motherhood - I look forward to getting to know you!
