INVESTMENT

Pricing is currently based on image release. I offer two price points depending on whether or not you grant permission for select images to be used in my portfolio and marketing. This allows me to continue growing and evolving in my work while honoring your boundaries. Any photos would be approved by you prior to being shared publicly. Payment plans are available either route you choose. Every family deserves to have their birth story documented. Please reach out for full details and availability—I’d love to chat and answer any questions you may have.

A $100 non-refundable retainer is due at the time of booking to reserve your due date on my calendar. Because birth work requires being on-call and ready to drop everything—often for an unknown length of time—I take on a limited number of clients each month. This retainer ensures your spot is held and allows me to turn away other bookings during your on-call window. The retainer is applied toward your total package cost and reflects the commitment I make to be fully available for your birth. Pricing is subject to change at any time.

Bereavement Photography

In the heartbreaking event of pregnancy or infant loss, I offer bereavement photography at no cost to the family. No matter if you're a current client of mine or not, please know I am here to gently and respectfully document your time with your baby. In those tender, sacred moments, photographs can offer a quiet way to honor your child’s life—no matter how brief—and hold space for your love and grief. There are no words for the heartbreak of anticipating or experiencing the loss of a baby. If you wish, I will come to your birth space—hospital, home, or birth center—and gently document your time with your baby, capturing the love, the details, and the moments you never want to forget. If you are a parent, provider, or support person in need of this service, please don’t hesitate to reach out—day or night. There is never a charge for this service.

FAQ

1. do i have a say in what gets photographed at my birth?

Absolutely! Your comfort and preferences are always my priority. You have full control over what is or isn’t photographed. Whether you want every moment captured or prefer a more modest approach, I will always respect your wishes and work within the boundaries you set. This is your story—I’m simply here to document it in the way that feels right to you.

2. will my photos be shared publicly?

Only with your explicit permission. I always ask before sharing any images. Your birth story is deeply personal, and I honor your privacy above all else. I will not share anything without your prior approval after you receive your photos.

3. What if I go into labor in the middle of the night?

I’m on-call for you 24/7 starting at 38 weeks (or earlier, if needed). Day or night, once labor begins, I’ll be ready to join you when active labor is underway.

4. What if I have a fast labor or need a C-section?

Every birth is different, and I do my best to arrive in time. If you’re planning a cesarean or one becomes necessary, I’ll work with your provider to see if photography is allowed in the OR. If not, I’ll still capture everything leading up to and after your baby arrives.

Frequently Asked Questions

5. When should I book you for birth photography?

It’s best to book as early as your second trimester to ensure availability. I take a limited number of births each month to remain on-call for each family, so the earlier you reach out, the better. But this doesn't mean I don't have availability for you if you're further along, just ask!

6. How long will you stay during my birth?

I’ll arrive once you’re in active labor and stay through the birth and up to 1–2 hours afterward to document those tender first moments—skin-to-skin, first feedings, newborn details, and the emotional connections.

7. Can we meet before my birth?

Yes, absolutely. I encourage a consultation—either in person or via video call—so we can get to know each other, talk through your birth plan, and discuss your hopes for what you’d like captured. This connection helps me serve you better and ensures you feel comfortable and supported when the big day arrives.

8. How long till I receive my photos?

You’ll receive a small sneak peek gallery within a few days of your birth, and your full gallery will be delivered within 2–6 weeks. Each image is carefully edited to honor the raw, beautiful story of your baby’s arrival. The time frame is greatly impacted by how busy I am or not with being on call for other births.

Frequently Asked Questions

9. What happens if you can’t make it to my birth?

In the rare event that I’m unable to attend your birth due to illness, an emergency, or a circumstance beyond my control, your retainer and any payments you may have made after that will be fully refunded.

10. What is your cancellation policy?

Because I take on a limited number of births each month and remain on-call for weeks surrounding your due date, a non-refundable retainer is required to reserve your spot at the time of booking with me. If you need to cancel for any reason, please let me know as soon as possible. While the retainer is non-refundable, any additional payments made may be transferable toward a fresh 48 session or fully refunded, whichever you choose. I understand that life, just like birth - is unpredictable, and I approach each situation with compassion and flexibility.

11. Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, flexible payment plans are available. I want this investment to feel manageable and will work with you to find a plan that fits your needs.

12. Do you photograph in any setting?

Yes—I support births in all settings, including home births, birth centers, and hospitals. Each environment is unique and beautiful in its own way.
